鈥孉s Seyb recalls, Mark Hanna, William McKinley鈥檚 money man in the 1896 presidential election, once stated, 鈥淭here are two things that are important in politics. The first is money, and I can鈥檛 remember what the second one is."

鈥孲tudent video contest: 'Make a Difference 鈥 Register and Vote!'

Students are invited to create 30- to 60-second videos encouraging eligible voters to make a game plan for voting in the Nov. 5 election and/or inform voters about important issues. The competition will run through Monday, Nov. 4. Videos must be nonpartisan and cannot support, demean, or defame any political party or person. Further information and guidelines are available online. Prizes will be awarded to winning teams.

Students collaborate with the League of Women Voters to host a voter registration drive and provide information about the New York Equal Rights Amendment.
