COVID-19 Updates

COVID-19 tests, masks, and guidelines for illness

鈥學hile COVID-19 is now endemic, 亚色视频黄色app下载 continues to encourage all members of the community to monitor their health, review the , and stay home when sick. Masks and rapid tests will no longer be handed out at Campus Safety but are available on campus for purchase at the 亚色视频黄色app下载 Shop. The government will once again provide beginning at the end of September. Employees are no longer required to report positive tests to Human Resources. College guidelines and FAQs may be found here and on the Health Services webpage.

Campus COVID-19 and flu vaccine clinics

鈥孒ealth Services is partnering with Adirondack Health and Wellness to offer updated COVID-19 vaccines and flu shots from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room at the Williamson Sports Center on Friday, Sept. 20; Friday, Oct. 11; Wednesday, Oct. 16; and Friday, Nov. 8. Fall fitness class registration

College and University Endowments: Purpose and Practice 

鈥孍ndowments provide a stable stream of revenue that reduce colleges鈥 dependence on revenues from tuition, room, and board. To enhance the 亚色视频黄色app下载 community鈥檚 understanding of endowments' importance, the College will host "College and University Endowments: Purpose and Practice," a virtual information session for students, faculty, and staff from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19. Representatives of the College鈥檚 Trustee Investment Committee, its external investment advisor, and the Finance and Administration Office will provide an overview of the endowment鈥檚 purpose, governance, policy guidelines, portfolio construction, historical performance, and annual spending. A registration link accessible to current students, faculty, and staff will be available in the coming days.

鈥孋ampus Safety has begun its relocation from Jonsson Tower to the first floor of the Annex. All fleet vehicles have been relocated to the Falstaff parking lot, where they will need to be picked up and dropped off. All vehicles should have a clearly marked parking spot.

Women鈥檚 tennis officially begins its 2024-25 season by hosting the two-day Battle of the Northway Tournament, starting Saturday, at the McCaffery-Wagman Tennis and Wellness Center outdoor courts. Five other Thoroughbred teams are competing on the road this week, including men鈥檚 golf. The golfers open their season at Middlebury College for the Duke Nelson Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
